The 11-year hospitality veteran previously served in two roles at the hotel before returning as its director. He was the operations manager of Homewood Suites for three years before moving to Hotel Aloft in Mount Laurel as deputy general manager. Cicerale joined Ocean Place Resort & Spa as Executive Vice President of Operations and Marketing for a short period, but returned to his hotel, where he previously served as Operations Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing. In his second stint, he moved from Ocean Place Resort and Spa and returned to HomewsoodSuites for the second time in his career as operations director.

Cicerale's hospitality experience originated in New Jersey, where he is now responsible for operations and marketing at Homewood Suites, the largest hotel in the state with more than 1,000 rooms and a total of 2,500 rooms.

Therefore, it is highly recommended to arrive early to find a parking space at the Homewood Suites parking lot at Newark Penn Station or the Newark North Jersey Coast Line station. The Northeast Corridor Line runs northeast from Newark to New York City and the NorthJersey Coast Line runs northeast from New Jersey City to Newark. Trains between the two locations take about 20 to 45 minutes to connect Newark and Penn stations, depending on the time of day. Newark Station is connected by a direct link with the East Coast Rail Line, which runs north to Philadelphia and south to Manhattan.

Transport is provided for guests staying at the hotel in the morning and evening. Guests must arrange their own transportation to Kean University campus from the Homewood Suites parking lot at Newark Penn Station or Newark North Jersey Coast Line Station.

Travelers will also appreciate the nearby train stations that provide access to Newark Penn Station, Newark North Jersey Coast Line Station and Elizabeth Station. Union Station is located just blocks from Kean University and Keana State University and is a stop on the NJ Transit Raritan Valley line that runs from Newark Penn Station to Elizabeth, N.J., and stops on NJ Transit 113. Elizabeth Station is located at the intersection of Elizabeth Street and Elizabeth - Elizabethbebe Highway, south of the Homewood Suites parking lot.

Continue on Route 82 to Morris Avenue, turn right on North Avenue to Route 439, turn left on Morris Street to the Homewood Suites parking lot, and then turn right again on Elizabeth Street.
